In the making of this headpiece I learned how to use colored enamel, I utilized two layers of enamel to draw in a design. The design in the center enamel and in the facial embellishments are meant to be ghosts. These ghosts are coming out of the forest, which is shown in the side enamel pieces, around sundown. The sunset gradient created contrast to the black ghosts and trees. I decided to make this design unique by adding chains that hang over the eyes and face, The ghosts hanging from them hinder your ability to see just like the ghosts that are trying to lead you off the path in the woods. Overall this was my favorite piece of jewelry from this class and the lore behind ghosts and creatures in the woods gave me a lot of freedom with the concept.
